Redding Titanium Nitride Neck Sizing Bushings are heat treated hardened steel, but with the addition of a TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating for even greater lubricity. This gives the handloader complete control and precision when setting the appropriate neck tension without fear of over working the brass in the case neck. All bushings are marked with size identification and are available in 0.001 inch increments. Redding covers all calibers from 17 to 338. By selecting the correct bushing, you are able to set the right amount of neck tension to properly hold the bullet without excessive resizing.
To determine proper Bushing size, measure the outside neck diameter of a loaded cartridge with a precision micrometer, then subtract 0.001-0.002 inches to allow for brass spring back and bullet tension. Redding TiN Neck Sizing Bushings work in most popular brands of dies.
