Tikka Rifles for Sale

Quality rifles are not just America’s preserve. No doubt, our country has lots of worthy, long-established rifle manufacturers like Remington, Winchester, Savage, and Ruger, to name a few. However, if you stick only with American rifle makes, you miss a load of other options, like Tikka.

The Tikkakoski company (today, Tikka) was established in the late 1890s in the like-named city of Finland. Throughout its history, Tikkakoski changed several types of products and a few ownerships. The company started manufacturing gun parts in 1918, during the Finnish Civil War, and in 1927, it began making barrels for the M27, a rebuild of the Mosin-Nagant rifle. During WWII, Tikkakoski made barrels, submachine and machine guns, and medium-caliber ammunition, and after the war ended, it focused on shotguns and rifles.

In 1983, Tikkakoski was merged with another influential Finnish gun manufacturer, Sako, and soon officially changed its name to Tikka. Nowadays, both brands are owned by Beretta Holding.

Tikka T3x

The Tikka brand is renowned for its Tikka T3 series of bolt-action rifles no longer in production, though. However, today, we have the Tikka T3X line. Compared to the T3, the T3X stock is synthetic and modular, with interchangeable pistol grips for a tailored grip angle. Additional attachment point on the stock allows changing the forend’s width. The buttstock is fitted with an improved recoil pad that considerably reduces the impact on the shooter. The synthetic stock has internal foam inserts that reduce the shock-generated noise. The recoil lug is made of steel for increased durability. Tikka guarantees 1 MOA accuracy for all its rifles.

Tikka rifles are available in an array of calibers, from .223 Rem, .308 Win, .300 Win Mag, .30-06 Sprg, .270 Win, .243 Win, and 6.5 Creedmoor to 7mm-08 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, and 25-06 Rem.
