HARRIS NO. 3 ADAPTER
The No. 3 Adapter by Harris Engineering is designed specifically for Remington SA rifles, including models No. 4, 74, and 7400.
This adapter consists of two essential parts, the base and the fore-end screw, ensuring a secure and reliable fit. It allows for the attachment of Harris Engineering Bipods, with models BR, L, and LM being the most recommended due to their low profile, which minimizes strain on the rifle's fore-end.
Installation is simple - after ensuring the gun is unloaded with the action open, remove the existing fore-end screw while keeping the cap in place, then mount the adapter body towards the rear of the gun and tighten the screw securely.
If loosening occurs, a small amount of removable thread lock can be applied to the screw threads.
The adapter allows bipod legs to fold toward the muzzle, keeping them out of the way when not in use.
