Blue Force Gear Mag Pouch
The company’s mag pouches use several proprietary technologies. Models featuring the Ten-Speed technology are designed snag-free for you to be incognizant of their existence. They are elastic and lay flat when empty. Ten-Speed pouches are multi-use, which means they accommodate not only magazines but also small radios, lights, and other similar-sized gear. A poorly constructed pouch that snags on things and slows you down can become a serious problem in a CQB situation where you need to be maneuverable and fast. Mag pouches also feature an advanced MOLLE attachment system called Helium Whisper. The system contains a single-piece back panel that minimizes the potential for weak points. The back panel is made with lightweight and heavy-duty proprietary laminate called ULTRAcomp.
Unlike nylon, the ULTRAcomp doesn’t retain water and stays light when wet. The laminate takes the best of two worlds, combining water, tear, and abrasion resistance of rubber and Cordura fabric's capability of reducing infrared signature. The technology is also used in Blue Force Gear battle belts and plate carriers.
