The CMC TRIGGERS AR-15/10 Single Stage Component Trigger features the same quality materials and design as their OG Drop-in Triggers but without the drop-in housing. A single stage trigger requires one range of motion to pull the trigger in order to release the hammer. The benefit of a single stage trigger is that it’s simple. Most shooters agree that a single stage trigger is crisper in the break of the trigger because you don’t feel the initial resistance of the first stage. A majority of shooters prefer the single stage triggers for most applications.
CMC Triggers offers a variety of trigger pull weights, from 2.5lb to 6.5lb. A lighter trigger pull can enhance precision and speed, allowing for quicker follow-up shots, making it ideal for competitive shooting and precise applications. Conversely, a heavier pull weight provides an added measure of safety, helping to prevent accidental discharges, particularly beneficial for novice shooters or in home defense situations.
