Following the introduction of the MkG many asked for a similar 9mm AR pistol that used the ubiquitous double stack 9mm Glock-pattern magazines, and thus the MkGs platform was born. Radial Delayed Blowback Operating System
Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted their Radial Delayed Blowback system across their pistol caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems.
Radial delayed blowback was an advancement from straight blowback. Compact action radial delayed blowback was an advancement to the original radial delayed blowback. This (fixed ejector on radial delayed blowback) is a continued advancement bringing new technologies to the original platform.
