Forget what you thought you knew about Pistol Caliber Carbines, the Dissent Br4 brings classic rifle ergonomics together with the fixed ejector Radial Delayed Blowback technology of our 9mm Dissent lineup. Built on the Dissent PCC platform, this refined 9mm carbine delivers smoother cycling, reduced felt recoil, and consistent performance across a wide range of ammunition thanks to its fixed ejector system and lighter-moving internal components. The result is a flatter-shooting, more controllable shooting experience that feels purpose-built rather than adapted.

At the front end, the rifle features a 16.1-inch barrel made from 4140CM steel with a durable SBN finish, offering excellent wear resistance and long-term reliability. The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 and capped with a CMMG ZEROED muzzle brake, helping manage recoil and muzzle movement for faster follow-up shots. Surrounding the barrel is a 15-inch proprietary CMMG handguard, providing ample grip surface, heat control, and a clean, extended sight radius feel.

The upper and lower receivers are precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, with a Dissent PCC upper paired to a BR4 billet lower for exceptional rigidity and alignment. The BR4 lower is designed to use CMMG 9mm conversion magazines, and also offers future flexibility: if you later swap to a compatible Mk4 Dissent upper group, the lower will accept STANAG-pattern magazines, adding long-term adaptability to the platform.

The Rifle for Restricted States: Although just shy of being available to all 50 US states, the Br4 gives people in 2A unfriendly states a modern choice in a go-to carbine.
