The COLT'S MANUFACTURING 1911 Remember 9-11 Pistol is a limited-edition 1911 pistol built on a Government-frame Colt platform chambered in .45 ACP, created to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Its stainless steel slide is engraved with tribute imagery resembling the Twin Towers, and the pistol carries a special serial number in the Remember001 through Remember500 range as one of only 500 built.
A 5" stainless barrel feeds a 7+1 capacity, and the engraved aluminum grips complete a piece meant to commemorate rather than simply function.
