COLT'S MANUFACTURING Combat Elite Government .45 ACP 5in 8rd Optics-Ready Semi-Automatic Pistol (O1070CE-OR)

The Colt 1911 Combat Elite Government in .45 ACP is a duty-ready, full-size pistol that combines the timeless 1911 platform with premium modern enhancements and a striking two-tone aesthetic. Built on a full stainless steel frame and slide, the pistol wears a distinctive Two-Tone Elite finish - polished stainless flats contrasted with black PVD-treated serrations - delivering both corrosion resistance and visual appeal. The 5" National Match stainless steel barrel ensures exceptional accuracy, while the Dual Spring Recoil System tames felt recoil and extends spring service life. The optics-ready slide allows direct mounting of a red dot sight without sacrificing the included Novak tritium night sights, making it equally capable with or without an optic. The Series 80 single-action trigger breaks cleanly at 4.5-6 lbs, and the ambidextrous extended thumb safety paired with an upswept beavertail grip safety provide confident, secure handling. Black G10 scallop and half-checkered grips round out the package with a positive, non-slip purchase in any condition. With an 8+1 capacity of .45 ACP and an overall length of 8.5" at 36 oz, the Combat Elite Government is built for shooters who demand competition-grade features in a serious defensive or duty platform - all backed by the legendary Colt name.
