The COLT'S MANUFACTURING CR6940 Monolithic Carbine Rifle takes all the features you have come to love from their M4 Platform and enhanced them to create a more rugged design.
The lower for this rifle is built on the tried and true Colt Mil-spec Style lower which comes with a nice standard 6 position buffer system for finding your preferred stock position. For the upper of this carbine is Colt's monolithic upper receiver which combines a continues picatinny rail on the top of the receiver for a consistent mounting solution for mounting optics and lasers.
The handguard also free floats the barrel giving the barrel a greater potential accuracy with that added rigidity. The barrel is the same high quality you expect from Colt and comes with a standard A2 Style flash hider. So if you want a rifle with dependability at the for front look at the Colt CR6940.
