The classic American-style rimfire rifle, the CZ 457 American .22 LR 24.8in 5rd Bolt-Action Rifle (02310) has a 24.8" barrel with no sights and is meant to be topped with a scope. Its Turkish walnut stock has a high, flat comb and a classic checkering pattern.
Like all of their 457's, it has an 11mm dovetail milled into the top of its receiver for attaching scope ring/mounts. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, they chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. The 455 and the same reliable polymer magazine system, the 457 is without a doubt the best rimfire platform they've ever fielded.

Fantastic firearm!
Removing the stock to adjust the trigger was a bit of a pain, but it should be a one time ordeal. I’m not a fan of the plastic magazine, so I purchased a steel model to replace it. Those are my only two complaints. The gun is absolutely gorgeous, the trigger and action are silky smooth and accuracy is phenomenal. I’m very, VERY pleased with this purchase
