CZ USA has taken their 457 and added it with the improvements that have been requested and a few more to complete the upgrade. The CZ 457 Varmint .22 WMR 20.5in 5rd Bolt-Action Rifle (02341) has the two position push to fire safety and a Turkish Walnut stock for a classic look and feel.
Other improvements are a change in bolt rotation to 60 degrees to allow larger scopes to be installed and changes in the design of the receiver and its length to reduce its weight and footprint. Topped of with a fully adjustable trigger you get the look and feel of a full sized rifle that you can feed inexpensive ammo to punch holes in your target.
