These Remington 788 Standard Action and Long Action mounts are made specific to the guns.
The middle spread is the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver.
The middle spread on EGW's standard action mount is 3.00". The middle spread on EGW's long action mount is 3.29".

Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. The center channel (valley) running down the middle of the rail reduces overall mass without sacrificing durability.. These one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and shooters alike.
Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite.
