The EVOLUTION GUN WORKS Vortex Viper/Venom Red Dot Sight Mount for HK VP9 OR/VP9L Optics Ready is meant to be installed in the factory slide cut. Simply remove the plate cover and replace it with the mount in order to mount your Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red dot sight to your HK VP9 Optics Ready, HK VP9L Optics Ready, HK VP9 Tactical Optics Ready or any other HK VP9 Optics Ready Models. You can take EGW mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included.
The screws that come with your slide to mount the plate to the slide may be reused. HK recommends replacing the plate mounting screws after 2,000 rounds. HK recommends torquing the screws for the plate to 2Nm or 17.7 in/lbs.
The screws to mount the red dot to the plate are provided at no extra cost. It is recommend using 15 in/lbs.
