Constructed from 416R stainless steel with a 1:8 twist for optimal projectile stabilization, this barrel is stress-relieved, air-gauge tested, and finished in Black Nitride for superior durability and corrosion resistance. The Gunner Profile blends the rigidity of a Gov't contour with the weight savings of a Pencil profile-reducing fatigue and improving rifle balance for extended use.
Each Faxon barrel undergoes Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and individual headspacing with PTG precision gauges to ensure safety and reliability from the first shot to the last.
