Fiocchi

Fiocchi is one of the leading manufacturers of shotshells and centerfire and rimfire ammunition for handguns and rifles. Fiocchi Munizioni established the business way back in the 1870s. In the 1880s, Fiocchi witnessed the revolution of breechloaders and began to utilize the primers suitable for reloading in its shotshells. Later, it adopted gunpowder and soon diversified into primed cartridges loaded with bullets and shot. Thanks to that, the company could produce finished ammunition and separate components.

In the 1950s, Fiocchi decided to expand, importing its ammunition to the American market. However, the growing demands of the American shooters prompted the company to open its manufacturing facilities in Ozark, Missouri, in 1983. Today, the factory manufactures about 80% of the Fiocchi ammunition sold in the US.

The company proved the quality of its ammunition several times and was granted Quality System Certificate under NATO AQAP-110. In 1989, Fiocchi 9mm ammo attained NATO qualification, and in 1999, the 5.56 mm ball cartridge got the same.
