Founded in San Diego in 1989, Gatorz Eyewear manufactures sunglasses with frames machined from billet aircraft-grade aluminum. The aluminum construction allows the frames to be manually adjusted around helmets, headsets, and hearing protection. The lineup includes sunglasses for tactical, range, outdoor, and everyday applications.
Gatorz Eyewear Models
The Gatorz collection includes several established models. The Magnum features a wide wraparound design, and the Blastshield provides increased coverage. The Delta is a slimmer MILSPEC ballistic model, while the Marauder features a squared wraparound frame and is available with smoke, polarized, and photochromic lenses.
Lens Options and Standards
Lens options include smoke lenses for bright conditions, polarized lenses for glare reduction, and Inferno photochromic lenses that darken as light conditions change. Selected Gatorz models meet ANSI Z87.1+ or MIL-PRF-32432A standards, depending on the specific frame and lens configuration.
