The Geissele Automatics Super Duty Mod1 5.56mm 12.5in Pistol (08-551B) is a high-performance, semi-automatic tactical AR-pistol chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built around a 12.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, this firearm is optimized for close-quarters maneuvers and vehicle-borne operations while retaining mid-range ballistic capability. It features the upgraded Mod1 receiver group architecture, an ultra-reliable carbine-length gas profile, and a dedicated Geissele trigger system, offering operators a duty-ready package engineered for exceptional reliability, durability, and smooth cycling metrics.
Both the Geissele CHF barrel and Forged Stressproof Bolt are High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), and work in concert to achieve unmatched dependability with match-grade accuracy. The Forged Stressproof Bolt is made from Carpenter 158+, directly developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to create a material that is cleaner and has less impurities. This makes the Stressproof Bolt stronger and more fatigue resistant, capable of 5 times the life of a mil-spec bolt.
The Super Duty features a precisely balanced gas system, including the bomb-proofed Super Compact Gas Block, fine-tuned gas port sizing and Super 42 braided buffer spring. These purposefully selected components minimize felt recoil while maintaining reliable cycling, even in adverse conditions. The MOD1 features the HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device, offering seamless compatibility with the innovative HUXWRX FLOW series.
At your fingertip is the SSA-E X two-stage trigger, which provides unrivaled control and performance with a wide-body Lightning Bow shape and Nanoweapon-coated components.
