The Griffin Armament MK1 AR-15 represents a fully-featured, quality, and value-packed carbine worthy of use as your primary carbine out of the box. The MK1 Patrol 14.5in Pinned .223 Wylde Carbine is a true front line fighting rifle. The tuned mid-length gas system and suppressor optimized buffer system ensure a soft yet reliable gas system suppressed or unsuppressed. Griffin's Anti-Rotation LOW-PRO Rails provide a rigid, yet lightweight handguard that is comfortable in the hand, yet robust enough to accommodate accessories such as lights and lasers. These rails have a tab that interfaces with the upper to prevent rotation of the rail under torque.
MK1 Firearms allow the end user to customize their build to fit their needs. Options include choice of muzzle device, furniture color, fixed or adjustable gas block, and milspec or gas pocket BCG. Users can also choose between Griffin's time-tested 416R SS HEDP barrel, or Griffin 4140 CMV Chrome-Lined HEDP barrel - both of which provide exceptional accuracy and lifespan.
Note: This rifle due to its barrel length must have a pinned and welded muzzle device prior to leaving the factory. Griffin Armament do not charge for pin and weld service, however you must select a pinnable Griffin muzzle device from the options above.
