A compact, lightweight design and a wide field of view make the 1-8x24 Vantage 30 WA Riflescope from Hawke Optics a good choice for general hunting. Eleven layers of antireflection coating on all lens surfaces deliver a sharp image with ample contrast. The scope features a single-piece 30mm maintube with 210 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment at 1/2 MOA per click for long-distance shots. The Circle Dot reticle in the second (rear) focal plane is designed for fast target acquisition. The scope is set to be parallax-free at 100 yards, and the sealed aluminum housing is purged with nitrogen to be fog and water resistant.
