The Javlin 3-component Rapid Changeover (J3RC) System is a Patent Pending design that allows you to have as many different setups as you like and swap between those setups in seconds. It offers seamless integration with Javlin Plate Bags if ballistic protection is desired and offers quick doff capabilities (meaning it can be rapidly removed in an emergency).
The use of doubled up 3" elastic helps keep this Chest Rig tight to your body, which in turn prevents it from bouncing up and down while you run or from chaffing over extended periods of use. Carrier Cushions (sold separately) can be added to several locations to add even more comfort.
It's 5x columns and 14x rows of MOLLE offer equal to or more useable space for attaching gear to than typical Chest Rigs.
The J3RC System is comprised of 3 components:
- J3RC Platform: This is the Loop Velcro portion that wraps around your torso and receives the J3RC Board.
- J3RC Board: This is the MOLLE compatible portion that all your equipment is attached to. The heavy duty Hook Velcro back securely attaches it to the J3RC Platform.
- J3RC Harness: This is the Harness portion of the System that replaces typical H or X style Harnesses. It does NOT hold Ballistic Plates. It's made to resemble Javlin Plate Bags so that it can offer some of the same benefits, such as a MOLLE compatible front and back and compatibility with items like Javlin Detachable Grid or Drag Strap.
Laser cut slits are provided on the inside of the J3RC Platform to provide compatibility with other Harnesses on the market. You'll need to acquire the slit buckle hardware yourself, but the laser cut slits for compatibility are there. Suspenders that attach via Alligator Clips are also an option as they can grab anywhere on J3RC Platform. Also note that depending on the weight of the setup, the J3RC system can be run with no Harness at all, allowing for an extremely low vis setup.
