The L.E. Wilson Case Gage Depth Micrometer is designed to help reloaders accurately measure shoulder bump and headspace before and after sizing. Whether you're fine-tuning a full-length sizing die or verifying brass consistency, this tool provides repeatable precision in .001" increments.
Perfectly compatible with all L.E. Wilson case gages (with limited compatibility for 50 BMG), it slips directly over the top of your gage to deliver consistent measurements. The included Gage Block helps ensure your micrometer is zeroed before use, providing reliable results across multiple calibers.
How to Re-Zero Your Case Gage Depth Micrometer:
1. Loosen set screw on base of Depth Mic
2. Back out the Micrometer Head and Spindle all the way out and remove (There is a spring inside under the cap, be sure not to drop it)
3. Grab scale portion and turn Clockwise and Counter-Clockwise several times, this will loosen pressure on set screw pad
4. Reinstall Micrometer Head and Spindle portion back to tool zero or .100
5. Set on top of Gage Block
6. Turn both Micrometer Head and Scale Clockwise together until spindle bottoms out on top of Gage Block
7. At this point your zero will be close. Fine tune by moving scale sleeve clockwise or counterclockwise to set zero
8. Tighten set screw
