The Mark IMS family easily eliminates the two most common issues faced when mounting standard riflescopes to AR-style rifles; scope height and eye relief. The LEUPOLD Mark IMS 34mm LH Scope Mount is designed to fit your AR's MIL-spec 1913/Picatinny rail and any scope with a 34mm maintube. It's also specially designed so the lugs are on the left side.

Engineered specifically for use with AR's, IMS mounts features a forward cantilever design, placing your scope forward on the rail to provide you with a full field of view. The mount also places the center of the optic 1.5" off the rail, the same height as open sights on a classic AR, making it easier to look through your scope without struggling to get low enough to the stock.
