The stainless-steel spring is corrosion-resistant and maintains the exact required tension for repeated loading and firing. The rugged, flared floorplate is easily removable for cleaning and routine maintenance. Visually, the capacity-indicator windows begin at 5 rounds and continue along the spine of the magazine in 1-round increments, and the paint-pen dot matrix allows custom marking to provide quick ID of magazine loads and use.
