PTR Industries has been building roller-delayed blowback firearms in Aynor, South Carolina since 2002, and is well known among shooters. Originally using tooling and technical data from Portugal to produce Heckler & Koch-style rifles, the company now manufactures all components in the United States.
The lineup includes both rifles and pistols, with the PTR-91 serving as the flagship chambered in .308/7.62x51mm and built to duty-grade standards. The series also includes several 9mm models. The PTR 9CT and 9CT-CL adapt the roller-delayed system to 9mm, while the compact 9KT offers a shorter format. A full-size option is available in the PTR-9R. All models share tight tolerances, durable construction, and the same roller-delayed operating system.
