Description
- Steel bushings are heat treated to approx. Rc 60-62 and hand polished to reduce sizing effort (Lubrication is recommended)
- Titanium Nitride surface treatment technology increases the lubricity and effective surface hardness to approx. Rc 85
- Marked with size identification in 0.001 in increments
- Covers calibers from .17 to .338
- Fits all Redding Bushing Dies and interchange with Wilson style bushings
- Easy sizing selection by measuring loaded cartridge neck diameter and subtracting 0.002 in
Redding Titanium Nitride Neck Sizing Bushings are heat treated hardened steel, but with the addition of a TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating for even greater lubricity. All bushings are marked with size identification and are available in 0.001 inch increments. Redding covers all calibers from 17 to 338. By selecting the correct bushing, you are able to set the right amount of neck tension to properly hold the bullet without excessive resizing.
The proper bushing size can be easily determined by measuring the outside neck diameter of your loaded cartridges with a precision micrometer. From this measurement, subtract .002”. This allows from brass spring back after sizing and will result in a proper press fit for the bullet. Redding TiN Neck Sizing Bushings work in most popular brands of dies.
