The Redding Expander Die is designed for straight-wall cases, specifically for .38 Special and .357 Magnum cartridges. It features a unique expander plug with a tapered lead for smooth entry and a parallel section that gently bells the case mouth, preventing the shaving of lead or jacketed bullets during seating.
The Expander dies are held to strict manufacturing tolerances at all stages and are heat treated to relieve stress and provide a lifetime of use.
