The Redding Bullet Seating Micrometers With Std #23 Seat Plug (9083) are for use with most standard Redding Seating Dies and provide a direct replacement for the original seat plug.
This unit directly replaces the original seat plug in your current seating die and adds a higher level of precision, repeatability and flexibility.
Redding Bullet Seating Micrometers for bottleneck cartridges are avaialble for traditional bullet (STD) and (VLD) bullet designs. They are also avaialble for handgun and strightwall cartridges with traditional (STD) and flat nose bullet designs (FLAT).
Interchange Note: Redding Micrometers are 1/2" - 20 threads or 9/16" threads except for the "Z Series" which are 5/8" - 18 threads.
Note: If you have previously used this die and have the body lock ring adjusted for a proper crimp there is no need to reset that function.
