REDDING Master Hunter .308 Win Die Set (28155)

The REDDING Master Hunter .308 Win Die Set was inspired by the success of Redding's National Match Dies. Experienced hunters know that full length resizing is important when a high stress follow-up shot is needed in the "real world" of hunting.

Master Hunter (MH-C) two (2) Die Set - combines a Full Length Sizing Die with a Carbide Size Button and the extraordinary Redding Competition Seating Die.

All Redding dies use the industry standard 7/8-14 threaded bodies. Many products that Redding produce are uniquely Redding, most have evolved by listening to the needs and desires of their customers and helping them solve specific problems.

Full Length Sizing Die
The full length resizing die contains a decapping rod assembly with a Carbide neck expander (size button). This die resizes the case body, shoulder and neck so that a resized case fits a chamber of minimum SAAMI dimensions.

Competition Seater Die
This patented design quickly established itself as the "state of the art" in straight line bullet seaters and beat the concentricity problems inherent in all other seating dies of this type.

Tighter manufacturing tolerances were made possible due to the details of the floating seating stem system. The bullet guide to seating stem fit is so precise that the seating stem can actually be demonstrated to "float" on a column of air. The seating stem is precision ground to exactly match the bullet diameter.

Alignment and accuracy are enhanced by the cartridge case and bullet being completely supported and aligned in a close fitting, precision ground sleeve before the bullet seating begins.

The micrometer is calibrated in .001" increments for precise seating depth and is infinitely adjustable. The micrometer also has a feature that allows you to re-set it to your favorite seating depth.
