It all began with a flintlock rifle that Eliphalet Remington II designed and built for and by himself back in 1816. Model 700 bolt-action rifle, released in 1962, was one of the most successful Remington’s firearms ever, with many sub-variants, one of which was even used as the US Army standard sniper rifle from 1988 till 2010. Remington knows how to build rifles, and not only bolt action ones.
