Remington Arms is one of the two companies that carry the heritage of the renowned Remington brand, whose history began back in the 19th century. Remington was one of the oldest gun manufacturers in America. In 2020, the brand name was acquired by Vista Outdoor, and today the name Remington is shared by its two descendants. The first one is Remington Ammunition, which is mainly involved in, you’re right, ammo production, but the second company continues the legacy of a once-significant firearm maker. RemArms bought the Remington Firearms manufacturing facility in Ilion, NY in 2020 to continue the business of its predecessor. Remington Arms designs, produces, and ships new Remington firearms to bring the customers the quality and dependability they got used to.

The brand was at the forefront of bolt-action rifle development, and this firearm contributed immensely to the image and reputation Remington earned. Remington Rifles

It all began with a flintlock rifle that Eliphalet Remington II designed and built for and by himself back in 1816. Model 700 bolt-action rifle, released in 1962, was one of the most successful Remington’s firearms ever, with many sub-variants, one of which was even used as the US Army standard sniper rifle from 1988 till 2010. Remington knows how to build rifles, and not only bolt action ones. Even though Remington 700 ADL and BDl keep being the crowd’s favorites together with Remington 783, they are not the only rifles the brand makes.
