Developed over the course of 2 years, the AUS Mount by Reptilia delivers a rock solid interface between your magnified optic and rifle. The AUS Mount securely attaches to any M1913 picatinny rail via Reptilia's exclusive spring-loaded clamp and custom bolt system. This type of mounting configuration can be tightened with either a 5/32 hex key or a flat blade screw driver to make maintenance easy. This design also makes the AUS streamlined and snag free. Just like Reptilia's DOT series, the AUS Mount is precision machined from a solid billet of 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a MIL-STD Type III, Class 2, anodized hard coat. Additionally, the AUS mount is compatible with all of Reptilia's ROF line.
