The 1/2-28 version of the M2 brake is designed to accommodate projectiles up to 0.36 inches in diameter, while the 5/8-24 version can handle projectiles up to 0.46 inches in diameter. This versatility makes the M2 brake suitable for use with rifles, lever guns and pistol caliber carbines when paired with the Alaskan360 series or Obsidian45/Obsidian9 suppressors using the Obsidian dual taper mount.
Installation is straightforward with standard wrenches and it is recommended tightening the brake to 20 to 25 ft-lb for optimal performance and safety.
