The XR920 Elite is designed and engineered with performance and reliability under extreme conditions in mind. Every aspect of the XR920 from materials to features is selected based on the idea that every pistol is a "duty pistol." Enhanced ergonomics and custom features such as the aggressive texture on the frame, the undercut trigger guard, extended beaver tail, recoil control ledge work together to increase control of the pistol and mitigate recoil. The XR920 uses a passive 3-safety system to prevent unintentional firing of the pistol. The articulated trigger safety prevents rearward movement of the trigger unless the trigger is pressed. The striker is blocked from forward movement by the striker block and trigger bar unless the trigger is pressed. The x series pistol also makes use of a full size frame for better control.
