The classic 1911 has joined the Red Dot Revolution with the introduction of the 1911-X from Sig Sauer. A balance of classic engineering and style with modern upgrades including an ultra-low profile direct-mount optic capability and XRAY3 Day/Night sights for extreme sight picture visibility. A flatblade trigger and custom G10 grip panels from LOK Grips takes shooting ergonomics to the next level for exceptional handling and comfort. Outfitted with a railed stainless-steel frame, ambidextrous safety, and front and rear serrations. A stylized carbon steel slide, unrivaled custom aesthetics, and a serrated front strap bring upgraded features to a timeless platform.

The 1911-X ROMEO-X model features a factory installed ROMEO-X red-dot sight from Sig Sauer Electro-Optics. The optics is crafted from 7075 aircraft-grade alloy featuring machined anti-reflection grooves on shooter-facing surfaces with distortion-free aspheric glass and a patent-pending Beryllium Copper flexure-arm adjustment system. The ROMEO-X incorporates a high-efficiency point source red LED emitter with 2 MOA dot / 32 MOA circle reticle, side independent brightness adjustment buttons, 15 brightness settings including night vision settings, and a side-mounted CR1632 battery compartment with a threaded battery cap so the optic does not need to be removed from the pistol for battery changes. Additionally, the ROMEO-X offers a low deck height for standard-height iron sight co-witness, has a minimum continuous runtime of 20,000 hours at medium brightness setting and utilizes MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination), MAGNETAC (Magnetic Activation), and D.A.R.C. (Dark Adaptive Reticles and Coatings) technologies.
