Upgrade or replace the barrel on your P229/228 with this original SIG SAUER part. The threaded barrel is chambered in 9mm and allows you to attach a suppressor or other muzzle device. A knurled thread cap protects the end when no device is attached. SIG SAUER factory replacement pistol barrels are specially heat-treated for toughness and durability. Thread pitch: 13.5 x 1LH. Please note that this barrel is for older P229/P228 models.
COMPATIBILITY WARNING:
This barrel WILL NOT FIT the following modern P229-1 models (which use 15-round magazines and the wider frame/slide):
- P229 Legion (all variants)
- M11-A1
- P229 Elite (Enhanced Elite, Scorpion, etc.)
- P229 Nitron (Modern production with 15rd mags)
- P229 E2 (Enhanced Ergonomics)
- P229 Models with LCI (Loaded Chamber Indicator)
Pro Tip for Buyers: Check your factory magazines. If they are stamped "P229-1", this barrel is not compatible with your firearm.
