Like the original, this magazine houses the CO2 cartridge as well as the ammunition. Using additional magazines can extend the life of the CO2 cartridge by allowing the cartridge's temperate to regulate between shooting sessions. This provides more shots per cartridge as well as increasing performance and shot consistency.
