The story of Sitka began on a cold rainy September morning in a tent set thousands of feet up in the mountains. The weather was unforgiving, and the gear didn’t live up to the expectations of a small group of outdoor enthusiasts. They took a different approach and decided to create gear they would want to use themselves. Unsurprisingly, Sitka began with a prototype gear for hunting big game in extreme mountain environments.
