The Taurus G3C is a compact semi-automatic pistol, built on the proven G3 platform and designed for self-defense with its quick-handling and lightweight polymer frame.
The G3C features a stainless-steel barrel that measures 3.2 inches, offering a reliable performance and a matte stainless finish. The overall length of the firearm is 6.3 inches, making it comfortably compact for concealed carry. Despite its compact size, the G3C has a capacity of 12 rounds, thus providing adequate firepower for any self-defense scenario.
Made from alloy steel, the slide of the G3C Taurus sports a Tenifer Matte Black finish, which boosts the pistol’s durability and resistance to wear. Its front slide serrations provide better control and make handling the gun generally easier. The grip of the gun is textured from all sides, especially at the front and the back, allowing for good purchase regardless of the external conditions.
The Taurus G3C 9mm employs a striker-fired DA/SA trigger with a light take and a fairly light pull. It also features a four-component security system that includes trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, manual safety and striker block. The slide stop on the Taurus G3c is located right in front of the thumb safety on the right-hand side of the gun.
Despite its compact size, it's big enough to offer good control while being small enough to conceal. The firearm also features a Picatinny rail. Unlike other guns from the same series, the Taurus G3C 9mm pistol comes with metal sights. The front sight is fixed, while the rear sight is drift adjustable, allowing for better aiming.
