TISAS 1911A1 Tank Commander .45 ACP 4.25in 2x7rd Black Cerakote Semi-Automatic Pistol (10100113)

The Tisas 1911A1 Tank Commander is built around a Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel that reduces overall length and weight compared to a Government-size 1911 while retaining the full stopping power and proven terminal performance of the .45 ACP cartridge that made the 1911A1 the sidearm of choice for American service members across multiple generations of military conflict. The single-action trigger provides the crisp, consistent break and positive reset that define the 1911 platform, and the A1 service thumb safety reflects the original military specification that generations of soldiers and sailors trained on and trusted in the field. At 37 oz., the all-steel frame delivers the substantial, planted feel that .45 ACP 1911 shooters associate with the classic military platform, absorbing recoil effectively and providing a confident, authoritative shooting experience.

The parkerized finish provides a durable, non-reflective, corrosion-resistant surface that is consistent with the military service heritage of the 1911A1 platform, holding up to field conditions and extended use without the glare or coating vulnerability of polished or applied finishes. Upgraded sights improve on the original GI sight picture, delivering enhanced target acquisition over the narrow military-spec sights while maintaining the period-correct character and compact profile of the Tank Commander design. The limited enhanced features refine select elements of the production 1911A1 specification to improve shootability and reliability without departing from the authentic military-inspired identity that defines this pistol.

Black plastic grips deliver the straightforward, no-frills functional aesthetic of a military-issue 1911A1, keeping the overall presentation consistent with the heritage theme and providing a firm, serviceable purchase in hand under recoil. The Commander-size format makes the Tank Commander a viable carry option for shooters who want the authenticity of the 1911A1 platform in a more concealable and maneuverable package than a full Government-size pistol provides. With two 7-round magazines included, the Tisas 1911A1 Tank Commander in .45 ACP is a heritage-correct, enhanced-feature military-style 1911 that delivers authentic character and proven .45 ACP performance at an outstanding value.
