The X-Bolt 2 Composite Special SPR rifle is bound to impress and is filled with features and total accuracy. Its lightweight and weather-resistant OD Green composite stock blends in to the surroundings and is easy to carry in the field or across rugged terrains.
A light, sporter contour barrel offers a great blend of accuracy and weight savings. The muzzle is belled to accommodate the larger 5/8"-24 suppressor-ready threading. A thread protector cap is included. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.
A non-reflective matte blued finish is applied to the redesigned action. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds.
Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, the Composite Special is built on a receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling.
The patented rotary magazine feeds cartridges from the center of the magazine for straight to the chamber feeding. The magazine also has shoulder retention to protect the tip of the bullet from striking the front of the magazine during recoil.
