The original BROWNING X-Bolt 2 Speed Bolt-Action Rifle has been a top performer in the field for several years. Not only did the Speed rifle break new ground with its straight-shooting features, it was also cosmetically different than other bolt-action rifles with a barreled action protected by a durable Cerakote finish, camouflage on the lightweight composite stock, and a fluted, sporter weight precision barrel. The awesome appearance of the Speed rifle was more than ably backed-up by its tack driving performance.

This model is designed to disappear in the deep woods, dropping the camo in favor of a OD Green composite stock with black accents and overmolded grip panels. Forest Shadow Cerakote shields the barreled action from the elements.

Like its predecessor, the X-Bolt 2 Speed is built for the on-the-move hunter with a no-holds barred design that is equally as capable chasing Nebraska whitetails as it is elk in Colorado. It retains features like a fluted sporter contour barrel that keeps the rifle light, maneuverable and easy to carry. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"x24 to accept the included radial muzzle brake, thread protector cap, or install an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for extra reduction in recoil. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock features 11-way adjustment, the concealment of Browning OVIX for excellent concealment in a variety of terrain and environments, and the new, thicker Inflex recoil pad.

With the Vari-Tech stock, Browning has a configurable stock with adjustment that is on par with many chassis-style stocks. Adjustments can be easily made to the comb height to dial-in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Even the grip angle can be changed by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. On the subject of grip, rubber overmolding on the gripping surfaces provides added security in all conditions.
