The Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro Rifle is built for the rigors of hunting from the lightweight carbon fiber stock to the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. Capable of exceptional accuracy this model features a bedded action and free-floated barrel with a polished chamber.

The 26-inch Heavy Sporter contour barrel has a 5/8-24 TPI Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that helps reduce the perceived recoil of the 6.5 Creedmoor by 77%. To further reduce perceived recoil and improve shooter comfort and accuracy, the rifle features an Inflex 1 recoil pad which redirects recoil energy down and away from your face. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for the Browning X-Lock scope mounting system which uses 4 screws instead of 2 screws for consistency.

The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber. The short 60 degree bolt throw is fast cycling and allows for quick loading without interference from the scope.

The Three-lever Feather Trigger is the heart of accuracy with the X-Bolt Mountain Pro. Clean, crisp, no take-up and minimal overtravel gives the Feather Trigger a superior feel. With an adjustable trigger pull weight from 3 to 5 lbs you can find the pull weight that best meets your needs. The trigger is pre-set at approximately 3.5 lbs at the factory.

A 4-round detachable rotary magazine feeds your cartridges directly into the chamber without the left/right offset found in traditional magazines. The magazine sets flush with the stock for a sleek look.
