The CENTURY ARMS LFA Apollo 11 V2 Compact balances the full-size Apollo 11 platform's performance with a more carry-friendly form factor, stepping down to a 4.15-inch stainless steel barrel while retaining the 18+1 capacity and double-stack 2011 feature set that defines the Apollo line. The two-tone FDE slide over a black frame gives this compact an immediately distinctive appearance, with the FDE Cerakote on the optics-ready slide contrasting cleanly against the matte black Cerakote steel frame.
Live Free Armory builds the Apollo 11 V2 entirely in Palm Bay, Florida, using 4140 chrome moly steel for the frame and slide and 416 stainless steel heat-treated for the barrel - the same material spec as the full-size model in a shorter, more packable package. The V2 updates apply here in full: the 6061 aluminum V2 grip with revised texture for positive purchase, the V2 slide with deeper serrations for confident manipulation under any conditions, and the external extractor for improved ejection reliability over the original Apollo 11.
The optics-ready slide cut accepts a wide range of compact red dot optics at the RMSc footprint, and a tritium front night sight ships installed. The single-action trigger with machined billet bow and curved shoe delivers a 3.5 to 4.5 lb pull with the familiar 1911 manual of arms - cocked and locked carry with an ambidextrous billet 4140 steel thumb safety. The integrated beavertail and Picatinny accessory rail complete the package.
