The 1860 Army, a .44 caliber cap and ball revolver, combined ease of handling with power and streamlined looks. A favorite with many westerners, the '60 model was known to have been used by the notorious James-Younger gang. The Cimarron's 1860 Army Civilian model duplicates the sixguns made for the public market, and like the pricey originals, this .44-bore revolver is offered in the 3-screw civilian-style color case hardened frame, loading lever and hammer, with an 8-inch round barrel. The '60 civilian sports a brass trigger guard and back strap, fitted to handsome one-piece walnut stocks. Cimarron's detail perfect replica represents one of the true classic six-shooters of the Wild West of the 1860s and early 1870s.
