Cimarron imported Uberti made 1847 Walker Dragoon black powder percussion revolver. In 1846 Texas Ranger and Dragoon officer Captain Samuel Walker teamed up with a little known and nearly bankrupt gun maker by the name of Samuel Colt to develop what was to become the most sought after of the Hartford model Colt percussion revolvers. The combined knowledge and experience of Walker and Colt resulted in the first six-shot revolver, a key to an even more awesome U.S. Army light cavalry sidearm. It was considered as the most powerful handgun available, until the introduction of the .357 Magnum. Saved from bankruptcy, Colt went on to a long and illustrious career, but sadly Captain Walker died in October of 1847 at the Battle of Juamantha, Mexico.
