The CMMG BANSHEE series has a number of 9mm AR pistols built on a few different platforms. The CMMG Banshee Mk4 FE has a standard AR15-pattern lower receiver and utilizes their 9mm AR conversion magazines with the same familiar AR15 manual of arms.

Radial Delayed Blowback Operating System
Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted their Radial Delayed Blowback system across their pistol caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems.
Radial delayed blowback was an advancement from straight blowback. Compact action radial delayed blowback was an advancement to the original radial delayed blowback. This (fixed ejector on radial delayed blowback) is a continued advancement bringing new technologies to the original platform.
