The CMMG Dissent Mk4 Semi-Automatic AR Pistol is a personal defense weapon that utilizes a unique compact action working in tandem with a direct impingement system. This eliminates the need for a buffer system, which means the Dissent AR Pistol is radically shorter than other AR-style pistols on the market. With this compact action and recoil system comes a forward mounted non-reciprocating side charging handle that can be switched to the left or right side.
A 1913 Picatinny rail end cap allows the user to add a compatible pistol brace if they choose, or a stock if the user chooses to go the SBR route. This CMMG AR Pistol also includes TriggerTech's AR-D trigger which was developed in collaboration with CMMG to be fully optimized for use with Dissent firearms and upper receiver groups.
