Created by John Brownings genius, famous for its mechanical strength, it enabled the introduction of the larger hunting calibers available at the end of the 1800s, it is now offered in the sporting version, with octagonal PMG quality barrel, made from a full steel bar, selected american walnut, specially finished. The 1886 Lever Action Sporting Rifle is equipped with an adjustable windage front sight and a Buckhorn rear sight. The frame machined from forged steel, is drilled and tapped on the left side, as is the tang, to fit a peep sight.
