ThisEVOLUTION GUN WORKS HD Picatinny Rail Scope Mountis designed for the Winchester Model 70. This Heavy Duty mount is specifically for the Winchester Model 70 pre-64 standard action and post-64 long action and has 30 MOA cant. They also offer picatinny rails Model 70 short action, WSM, and WSSM. The middle spread is the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver. The middle spreads on EGW's Winchester model 70 picatinny rail mounts are as follows:
Winchester 70 Short Action: 3.259"
Winchester 70 Long Action: 3.805"
Winchester 70 WSM: 3.514"
Winchester 70 WSSM: 3.225"
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. The one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite.
