EVOLUTION GUN WORKS S&W Revolver Picatinny Rail Scope Mount (49100)

This mount fits:

Smith & Wesson Revolver
This mount will fit K, L, N, and X frames.
The bolt pattern on this mount fits factory drilled Smith & Wesson revolvers.

Swing the cylinder out on your gun and look under the top strap. If you see the holes under the sight, through the top strap, your gun is factory drilled and tapped. EGW's mount fits snugly into the rear sight cut and has a recoil shoulder, unlike some mounts that are simply radiused to fit the top radius and do not go into the rear sight cut.

If your top strap is not already drilled and tapped (pictured above), EGW'S mount will not work with your gun. You can have a competent and qualified gunsmith drill and tap the top strap with the standard S&W hole pattern which will allow you to use EGW's mount.

If your gun has no holes like on the 2d picture, you will need to drill and trap your top strap to use the mount.

If your gun only has a hole like on the third picture, you will need to drill and trap your top strap to use the mount.

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

EGW machine these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.

Installation: EGW recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately).

The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
